The Financipation Legacy Scholarship
At Financipation, we believe education is one of the greatest investments anyone can make. As founders, Christopher and Reba Phelps are committed to empowering future leaders through education, financial literacy, and opportunities that create lasting impact.
The Financipation Legacy Scholarship was established to support students pursuing careers that strengthen our communities and build a brighter future.
Each year, one deserving student will receive a $1,000 scholarship to help further their educational journey.

Winner Announced: January 15, 2027
Scholarship Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be accepted into or currently enrolled in an accredited 2-year college, 4-year university, or graduate program.
- Pursue a degree in ONLY one of the following fields:
- S.T.E.M.
- Healthcare
- Law
- Finance
- Submit a complete application before the deadline.
- Submit a color headshot photo of applicant.

Essay Prompt:
How has your relationship with your biological father or stepfather—whether positive, negative, or somewhere in between—inspired, challenged, or motivated you to pursue a college degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (S.T.E.M.), Healthcare, Law, or Finance? Share how your experiences have influenced your educational journey.
Submission Guidelines:
- 900–1,100 words
- 3–3.5 pages
- Double-spaced
- 12-point Times New Roman font
Applications will be reviewed based on:
- Essay Quality & Personal Reflection — 60%
- Character & Future Goals — 30%
- Academic Achievement — 10%
File Requirements:
- Essay must be submitted as a PDF or Word document
- File name format: Last Name_First Name_Scholarship Essay_And_Photo
(Example: Smith_Jordan_Scholarship Essay)
Additional requirements that MUST to be submitted:
- Proof of enrollment or college acceptance
- Color photograph (headshot)
Essays must follow all formatting and length requirements to be considered for review. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. NOTE: No use of AI. The essay must be original work. Any work generated by AI will not be considered.
